There is hype that a non-capitalistic healthcare system (government-financed-Improved-Medicare-for-All system) would create a huge doctor shortage (republican and libertarian argument). The reality is we have a huge shortage of primary care doctors now with a "capitalistic" model. The price of tuition is sky-rocketing and republicans and libertarians want to cut any state help to fund higher education.
