Health Security Passes Second Committee! (SB 5)

The Health Security Act (SB 5) passed the Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday by a vote of 7 to 4, along party lines. Some very dedicated supporters waited patiently into the evening in order to testify in favor of the bill. The senate was on the floor until 7:00 PM. Fortunately, the Health Security Act was first on the Senate Judiciary Committee's agenda. The bill now moves to the Senate Finance Committee.
